Today we take a look at sharing and submitting your Final Portfolio for a grade. While most of these tips you can find online, I do want to make sure that we review tithe “Self and Teacher Evaluation” section that brings the project to a close.  This might sound familiar as I created a video for May 7, but never received any feedback.

Everything we discuss today can be viewed through a video here: Final Portfolio: Filling out the Self-Critique

WK 3 Twitter Response:
Time to INTERPRET what you have done, Determine the feeling, mood or ideas communicated through the work of art. Comment on the creative process, intent of the piece, or what may have been a source of inspiration for the work.

BECAUSE I WANTED A GOOD GRADE…

The point to the next 4 days here is to figure out exactly “what was the meaning” to creating the projects that we made throughout the semester. I know every project that we’ve completed was “assigned,” however I am looking for the reason why YOU think we did this project

Ceramics 2: Introduction to the Wheel

I can:

…use the techniques from video tutorials to master raising and lowering clay on the potter’s wheel. (Skill)
…make decisions based on your past projects, and defend your choices by reflecting on specific questions (Reasoning)

Painting 2: Ceiling Tile Murals

I can…

…Use previously learned techniques to fill in big areas of color on my tile. (Skill)
…make decisions based on your past projects, and defend your choices by reflecting on specific questions (Reasoning)
