WHY, WHO, WHAT!?!?! Yep, the end of the card marking means checking up to make sure we are as organized as possible to keep our projects from having successful outcomes.

- Learn the significance of writing an ARTIST STATEMENT
This is going to be one of those days that we discussed last week, a “lost work day”….dum, dum, dum (so dramatic). We will spend some time today discussing the importance of, and just why we should be thinking about creating an artist statement to accompany our pieces for the show. Don’t forget that this Wed, is our 4th and final photo critique!!!
How have you solved the issue of including text in your design?
Drawing: Marble Still Life
- Successfully use colored pencils to achieve desired results
- Be able to discuss my decisions by using appropriate terms and vocabulary
Since some people were absent when we started this last week, I will go over the specifics again for you in the beginning of class.

I know we have done some “non-traditional” activities, like….READING, but has any of the discussed concepts/ideas sparked some things to think about? Can you apply any of this to other classes or situations happening in your everyday life?
