Intro to Art: Animation Final

I can:

  1. COMBINE my traditional animation cels with an EFFECTIVE and APPROPRIATE app for creating ANIMATION

I’ve collected a list of apps that you might want to check out before you start filming your short GIF.  Also remember that not only is the animation due Thursday, but you also will be turning in your cels as well as your background, which will all be considered in your final grade.

Ceramics 2: DNA “Face-Off” Challenge

I can:

  1. FINALIZE my ACTION PLAN’S idea(s) by TYING up any loose ends that may exist on my mutated DNA for a character from FACE-OFF

Final day of studio time is upon us.  While it seems like the time flew by, we are quickly approaching the deadline for this project.  Don’t forget exactly what the PURPOSE of this challenge was.  Make sure you don’t fall into the hole of just getting the project done for getting it done sake.  There are a few things that we will go over to make sure that you have for the deadline, but don’t forget the following items will be graded:

  • DNA Final Ceramic project
  • Story / Comic describing “How the mutation to the DNA came to be”

What if any areas of the challenge are you lacking or uncertain of moving forward?  What is your plan to make sure you don’t lose credit for these concerns?

Painting 2: POP Art Challenge

I can:

  1. FINALIZE my ideas for the challenge by COMBINING all requirements of the project before tomorrow’s deadline

Again, the final day for studio time.  Before we get into everything that needs to be turned in, we will revisit the actual challenge’s requirements (focus).  Make sure that there aren’t any areas that you are missing out on that could determine your final grade on this project!

What if any areas of the challenge are you lacking or uncertain of moving forward?  What is your plan to make sure you don’t lose credit for these concerns?

Adv. Drawing: Beginning Portraiture

I can:

  1. COMPREHEND the various parts of SHADOWS in a drawing
  2. APPLY my skills in ADDING VALUE to a drawing to create a more realistic feel.

I know we touched on a ton of information yesterday.  From the look of it many people, were left confused as to what was actually taking place, and that’s OK, as long as you gain information today and clear up any concepts that you still might be foggy on.

When it comes to adding VALUE (shading), what is the biggest concerns/fears you have?
