Intro to Art: Value Study Project Challenge (wrap-up)
- Show your ability to proficiently understand and be aware of VALUE by transferring appropriate shades from a reference image.
- Utilize your prior knowledge by referring to their VALUE SCALE techniques to replicate specific tones.
Over the next hour, you will be putting the finishing touches on your very first project challenge. Now while I’ve made a point to have you guys digitally turn in assignments in the past, this project will be physically turned in today. There is a routine to follow when turning in work, however, I also want to take a few minutes with you to discuss how you will receive your grades for this project. Plan on wrapping everything up on this project about 10 minutes before the end of this project.
Painting 1: Abstract Color Theory Challenge
- Apply your comprehension skills for developing a personal piece of artwork by following the requirements of the project.
- Be able to describe, either by writing or through discussion the personal choices you’ve already made, and/or will be making for your personal piece
I will be moving around the classroom today, seeing if you guys need any assistance or help. One requirement that I will have you guys complete before you leave, is turn in “Cover Art” for your musical inspiration for this piece. You can follow this link to turn in your submission.
Ceramics 1: Evaluation Day
How do projects get graded in this class?
There is a routine to follow when turning in work, however, I also want to take a few minutes with you to discuss how you will receive your grades for this project. What do you do if you’re exempted (due to projects still being fired). HELP!!!
Remember the form below…this is how you will receive feedback, but also your final grade(s) on your ceramic pieces. Be sure to have it filled out with the proper SPELLING and PUNCTUATION of your email address.
