Intro to Art: Using LINE to create Three Dimensional Drawings (Shape Challenge)

  1. Demonstrate your drawing skills by applying various characteristics of LINE by following a demonstration.
  2. Apply comprehension skills for understanding qualities and characteristics of 3-D drawing by using LINE

I had a chance to go through some of the examples you turned in from class.  We will spend a little time revisiting some of the mistakes I observed, and a little time explaining some of the good things as well.  Today you will take this information and put it into motion by participating in a unique activity called the SHAPE CHALLENGE (see attachment) #mhsshapechallenge

Painting 1: Critique Day

  1. Engage in constructive critique with peers, then reflect on, re-engage, revise, and refine works of art and design in response to personal artistic vision.

As an individual, what do you think you are going to struggle with the most in today’s Critique. Think about ALL we have ALREADY spoken about – or not spoken about…

Reflection / Evaluation: What one thing did you add to the critique that nobody else did? What ONE thing did you LEARN about that nobody else did?
