Intro to Art: Sketchbook Challenge #4 (Finding Images to Use as Digital Stencils)
A bit different of a look here for this week’s sketchbook challenge. Be sure to make note of the changes to this week’s challenge.
Challenge Description:
This project will require you to use Photoshop to digitally create a MULTICOLOR digital stencil which will be copied with different COLOR SCHEMES in order to re-create the famous Andy Warhol “Marilyn Diptych.”
In order to be successful, you will need to select an image that will work within the steps we’ve taken in class to digitally create the stencil effect.
Sketchbook Challenge #4: Finding Images to Use as Digital Stencils
You will use the hour to search for suitable image(s) to use in your upcoming project. Be aware which types of images will work better than others to achieve this effect. By the end of the hour, you will need a total of 5 possible images that may be used for the digital portion of this project.
At the end of the hour, you will be required to take a SCREENSHOT of your 5 images, “opened” on your desktop, and submit it to me digitally using the hashtag.
