Intro To Art: Introduction to Animation (Bouncing Ball Challenge Day 3)  Side to Side

  • RECOGNIZE the proper steps and techniques needed to create a LOOPING ANIMATION through a class exercise
  • DEMONSTRATE their understanding of the class demonstration by LISTENING to multi-step instructions

Today YOUR focus will be to consider the steps we took in creating the BOUNCING BALL animation from yesterday’s class and recreate this to show the ball bouncing from left to right, and then back to the left side of the screen.  We will continue using Keynote (Presentation Tool) and you will need to give the movement a more realistic appearance of a bouncing motion using KEYFRAMES and INBETWEEN frames.

Adv. Drawing: Introduction to Gesture Drawing

  • STWBAT RECALL information and specific characteristics of GESTURE DRAWING by recognizing the visual components in a class lecture.
  • STW ORALLY  ask any questions about the project demonstration they may have using complete sentences.

Throughout today’s class, we will be looking into the focus of GESTURE drawing while also discussing and demonstrating the importance of WARM-UP EXERCISES as well as proper drawing practice/posture.  We will take some time looking at this weeks pose packet as we work through each individual pose.
