Intro to Art and Drawing: Sketchbook Challenge #7

These sketchbook challenges were intended to be a bit of a “palette cleanser” or a change from the typical make stuff atmosphere that we can get caught up in an art class.  Today we wrap up the month of INKTOBER with a creative twist on ink drawing

Challenge:

  • Using the provided sheet(s) in class, select one to copy into your sketchbook as best as possible.
  • Using the space inside the image, create a character or person of your choice in which you use the space inside to create the details of your character.
  • Once you’ve drawn out the basic idea, you may work on the outside of the shape, but you CANNOT CHANGE/EDIT THE SHAPE you’ve selected.
  • Finish your drawing in pen, marker, or ink and submit it through email or social media using the hashtag #MHSsketchbookCHALLENGE
