Intro To Art: Lined Shape Challenge

Second project time. Below you will find a copy of the in-class presentation that will guide you through this projects purpose, requirements and deadline.
Using the HELP FOLDER associated with this project challenge, each student will be required to carry out the set of requirements needed to successfully build a lined shape composition.
Drawing: Pen and Ink Portfolio Drawing
- STWBAT apply their understanding for VALUE and TEXTURE techniques by working towards completion on an original composition using Pen & Ink
- SW orally ask any questions about the project demonstration they may have using complete sentences.
We will begin our second “drawing from observation” in today’s class by studying the various types of values that can be observed from a variety of different texture and lighting.
Students will choose from 3 still life options to create a unique PEN & INK composition that shows and defends their abilities to draw from observation and effectively match the values/ textures observed using the techniques practiced in class. Each student will work throughout the next 10 days to create a finished drawing which illustrates their ability to consider composition and drawing tools when creating a “finished” drawing.
